The Simple Version (TL;DR)
Full refund within 7 days, provided you haven't run any conversions during that billing period. Just email us to start the process.
1. Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund of your most recent subscription charge if: (a) your request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the charge; (b) you have not initiated any file conversions during that billing period; and (c) your account is in good standing. 'Initiated a conversion' means uploading a statement and receiving output (CSV, Excel, or JSON), regardless of download status.
2. When Refunds Are Not Available
Refunds will not be issued if you have completed one or more conversion jobs during the billing period, if more than 7 days have passed since the charge, or if your account was terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service. Free tier usage does not impact paid plan refund eligibility.
3. Subscription Cancellation
Cancelling your subscription prevents future charges but does not automatically trigger a refund for past ones. When you cancel, access continues until the end of the current period. Refund requests must be submitted separately via email within the 7-day window.
4. How to Request a Refund
Email hello@mintconvert.com with the subject 'Refund Request'. Include your account email and the charge date. Approved refunds are processed via Dodo Payments to your original method and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
5. Disputed Charges
If you notice a duplicate or incorrect charge, please contact us before initiating a bank chargeback. We resolve legitimate billing errors promptly. Uninformed chargebacks may result in temporary account suspension pending resolution.
6. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this policy. Registered users will be notified via email at least 7 days before changes take effect. Continued use of MintConvert after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
