How to Import a Bank Statement PDF into Tally

Step-by-Step Guide

    Convert your PDF to Tally CSV

    Upload your Indian bank statement PDF to MintConvert and select Tally CSV as the output. Download the .csv file.

    Open Tally Prime or Tally ERP 9

    Launch your Tally software and open your company.

    Navigate to Import

    In Tally Prime: Import → Transactions → Bank Entries. In Tally ERP 9: Gateway of Tally → Import → Transactions.

    Select the CSV file

    Browse to your downloaded CSV file and select it.

    Map columns

    Map Date, Narration, Debit, Credit, and Voucher Type columns. Import completes and entries appear in the bank ledger.
