1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites maintain session state, remember authentication, and collect anonymized usage data. MintConvert uses a minimal set of cookies only those necessary to operate the service and understand how it is used.
2. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are required for MintConvert to function and cannot be disabled. They include: session cookies that maintain your login state; authentication tokens via Google OAuth; and CSRF protection tokens. Without these, you cannot sign in or access paid features.
3. Analytics Cookies
We use Vercel Analytics and PostHog to understand user interaction. These tools track pages visited and features used. This data is anonymized it is not linked to your name, email, or uploaded files and is used solely to improve the product. It is never used for advertising.
4. Third-Party Authentication Cookies
When you sign in via Google OAuth, Google may set cookies on its own domains. These cookies are governed by Google's Privacy Policy and are not controlled by MintConvert.
5. Payment Cookies
When initiating a payment, Dodo Payments may set cookies to process your transaction securely and comply with PCI-DSS requirements. These are governed by Dodo Payments' privacy policy.
6. Cookies We Do Not Use
MintConvert does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, retargeting cookies, or social media integrations designed to profile financial behavior. Your uploaded documents and conversion activity are never used for profiling.
7. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through browser settings. refuse new cookies, delete existing ones, or receive notifications. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in.
